Domestic science involves learning about matters relating to everyday life, over the whole course of a human life, focusing on the harmonizing of technological progress with human living. By learning, in an integrated manner, about the specialist fields of nutrition, clothing, life management, home studies, childcare, and domestic science teaching, students engage in in-depth study of the creation of enriched, meaningful human lives. The class also aims to cultivate teachers who can transmit to children the idea of an enriched lifestyle built around effective collaboration between men and women, and who can show children that life can be meaningful and enjoyable.
