Japanese Education

The Japanese class for teachers involves integrated study of Japanese language, Japanese literature, Kanbun (older Japanese texts written using only or mainly Chinese characters), calligraphy, and teaching methods for Japanese. Through a combination of lectures, seminars, reading assignments and practical training, students are able to enhance their capabilities in various specialist fields. For their graduation thesis, students are able to choose a topic relating to the area that they plan to work in in the future. The interim presentation of the graduation thesis takes place in autumn, with the final presentation taking place in February of the following year.
