Social Science Education

The field of social studies embraces history, geography, law, economics, ethics and philosophy, and social awareness education. In each of these fields, students undertake study and research to enhance their understanding of social systems and how they operate, of how people live within society, and of how education relates to all of this, through the reading of related documents and historical materials, by conducting surveys and by undertaking data analysis. Students decide for themselves which topic they wish to tackle in their graduation thesis. The interim presentation of the graduation thesis takes place in September each year, with the final presentation taking place in February of the following year.
